Like a fresh apple cider, this delightful blend of fruits and spices delivers a warm,cozy mug of fruity cider tea for two.
Apple and Orange Spice Chai Tea Recipe
Yield: 2.5 to 3 cups
2 cups hot water
2 bags of black tea
1 apple, peeled and quartered
1/2 orange, peeled
2 Tablespoons raw honey
1/2 teaspoon stevia powder, opt. or preferred sweetener to taste
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
Pinch of ground ginger and cardamom
Can substitute a whole, peeled tangerine for the orange half.
Can use pumpkin pie spice mix or apple pie spice mix in place of the ginger and cardamom.
